Langdon is located 12 kilometres east of the City of Calgary at the intersection of Highways 560 (Glenmore Trail) and 797, and 4 miles south of the Trans Canada and 4 miles north of Highway 22X.
The 2013 municipal census counted a population of 4,897 in Langdon, an 87% growth from 2006.
