Family practice in a town of 5,000 people, approximately 45 minutes north of Calgary. Includes the opportunity for inpatient coverage, Lodge/Assisted Living coverage, and potentially ER work depending on current staffing needs. Current ER schedule consists of 10-hour day shifts and 14-hour night shifts.

Job Description

Trinity Rose Medical Clinic is seeking locum coverage for a period of approximately 5 months, with the potential to develop into a longer locum position or a permanent position.

The physician who is taking an extended leave of absence currently works an average of 3 clinic days per week, but up to 5 days per week could be accommodated if desired. Given the short timeline, alternate arrangements have been made by the call group to cover the departing physician''''s ER shifts; however, some ER shifts might still be available to provide coverage for vacations or other absences by the other physicians on the ER schedule.

Inpatient coverage will also be available, both for the physician''''s own patients and any unattached patients admitted by the physician during ER shifts.
